FAQ · The Honest Answers

Questions, answered.

What artists, brands, and partners ask us most. No marketing-speak. Real answers.

▮ For Artists

Do you guarantee my song will blow up?
+

No. And anyone who guarantees that is lying to you. What we guarantee is the system — the brand, the content engine, the audience strategy, the release campaign. System + your work = growth. No shortcuts. No tricks.

Are you a record label?
+

No. We're a music growth studio. The difference:

→ Labels own your masters. We don't.
→ Labels sign you for 5–7 years. We sign for 2 (with sunset).
→ Labels recoup expenses from your royalties. We charge service fees + commission only.
→ Labels make money from your music. We make money from your success.

What's the difference between Diagnostic, Sprint, and Management?
+

Diagnostic (₦50K-₦75K) = One session + report. Clarity on what's broken. You execute.
Sprint (₦200K-₦400K) = 30 days. We build the full system for you. You run it after.
Management (commission) = 2+ year partnership. We're in everything together.

Most artists start with Diagnostic → Sprint → Management. You can also enter at any tier.

I don't have ₦200K for a Sprint. What can I do?
+

The Diagnostic exists for exactly this. ₦75K gets you a 2-hour session + a written 90-day roadmap. You take the roadmap and execute it yourself. If/when you can afford a Sprint later, ₦50K of your Diagnostic fee is credited toward it.

Do I have to be in Enugu?
+

No. We're built in Enugu and we love serving South-East artists, but Sprints and Diagnostics run fully remote for artists anywhere. We've designed the entire process to work over video call. Capture Day works in-person if you're in the South-East — otherwise we'll guide you through self-capture.

Who owns my music after we work together?
+

You. Always. Forever.

HYPELAB never owns your masters, your compositions, your publishing, your name, your image, or your socials. Not during a Sprint. Not during Management. Not after. This is non-negotiable — it's in every contract we sign. We're a music growth studio, not a label.

How do I apply?
+

Fill out the contact form. Takes 4 minutes. We respond within 48 hours. From there, we'll set up a 20-minute discovery call to decide if HYPELAB and you are the right fit. Honest both ways.

▮ For Brands

What's the minimum brand partnership budget?
+

Our Starter tier begins at ₦800K for a single-artist activation. Standard campaigns (the sweet spot) run ₦2M-₦4.5M. Premium flagship campaigns run ₦5M-₦12M.

We don't take “exposure” deals. Every partnership has a fee. Full pricing here.

Can we just buy a single sponsored post?
+

That's not our model. We build cultural moments, not posts. If you want a one-off sponsored post, an influencer agency is the right partner. If you want a campaign with content depth, real attribution, and brand-cultural credibility — that's us.

How long does a campaign take?
+

From signed brief to delivered campaign + measurement report: ~45 days. Starter campaigns can deliver in 3-4 weeks. Premium flagship campaigns run 8-12 weeks for full multi-city scope.

Do you work with international brands?
+

Yes. Most of our work right now is Nigerian-market focused, but we work with international brands targeting African Gen Z + Millennial audiences. We handle invoicing internationally, contracts in English (Nigerian or international law as preferred), and payment via Crypto.

How do we get started?
+

Send a brief or inquiry here. We respond within 48 hours with a 25-minute discovery call. From there: custom proposal within 5 business days. Contract signed within 7 days of agreement. Campaign live within 14 days of contract.

▮ General

Where is HYPELAB based?
+
